1. Select a Great Building you want to level up.
2. Go to the FoE GB investment tool: https://foe.tools/gb-investment
3. Select the GB you are investing in.
4. Select the level you are investing in.
5. Change the Percentage of global investors’ bonus to 90 per cent, as this is a 1.9 thread.
6. Check the table to see how many FPs the owner has to invest to secure positions.
i. You can secure up to 5 positions, with different levels of owner investment.
ii. You don’t need to secure all 5 positions.
7. It’s best to secure the positions in advance before you post your GB to the 1.9 thread. If you don’t you leave the GB open to out-of-guild snipers. If you have been sniped, you can alter the calculation to secure the remaining places for guild members.
8. Add the number of owner FPs to your GB before posting to the thread to securing positions. Do not post it elsewhere.
9. Once you have added the owner FPs to the GB, go back to the FoE tool. Add in the information as you did in steps 3 to 5 above. This time, change the ‘Number of FPs currently put in by the owner’ to the amount you have added.
10. The secured positions should now show as green in the table.
11. Copy one of the summary messages to post the FPs needed for the positions to the ‘Great Building Arc boost’ thread. For example, Bron Arc 3 – 4 P5 (10) P4 (20) P3 (30) P2 (50) P1 (100).
12. If other GBs are also active, combine your post to mention all active GB slots available,
e.g.
· Belinus CDM 7 – 8 P5 (20) P4 (40) P3 (56)
· Bron Arc 3 – 4 P5 (10) P4 (20) P3 (30) P2 (50) P1 (100).

13. Post your GB to the 1.9 thread. Then post the copied message.
14. The message notes the GB, the level, the available positions and cost / return in FPs.
15. Once all fixed positions have been filled, the GB can be posted to the general FP swap threads for any remaining unsecured positions.
16. Investors should then be guaranteed that their investment will be matched by the FP bonus given when the building is levelled at a 1.8 return rate. They cannot be sniped once the Forge Points have been given.
